Maria Gadú Live in Miami

Maria Gadú brings to Miami her third album, “Guelã”. Her concert at the Flamingo Theater is part of the singer-songwriter’s North-American tour.

Maria Gadú exceeds expectations with her musicality and lyricism. Her unique tone and almost quiet demeanor has been captivating fans from around the world. She became success in 2009, when her debut album went platinum in Brazil, selling more than 200 thousand copies. Gadú received a Multishow award for Best Album, and was nominated for a Latin Grammy for both Best New Artist and Best Album – Singer-Songwriter. Gadú has earned the admiration of many Brazilian giants, as well as internationally renowned artists such as Alicia Keys, Tony Bennett and Jesse Harris. During her career she has shared the stage numerous times with Caetano Veloso, Lenine, Ana Carolina, Gilberto Gil and Milton Nascimento.

Maria Gadú will be accompanied by Sandro Albert on guitar, Gastão Villeroy on bass, and drummer Joel Rosenblatt. They will present the singer’s latest album as well as some of her classic hits.
